A federal jury in Little Rock has found Spencer Walker, 36, guilty on charges of conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. The announcement was made by Jonathan D. Ross, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

Walker was indicted by a federal grand jury on August 5, 2025, on three counts and faced trial before United States District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky. After four days of testimony, the jury deliberated for less than 45 minutes before returning guilty verdicts on all charges.

Evidence presented at trial showed that in September 2022, the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) intercepted two packages containing five pounds of methamphetamine each. Law enforcement conducted a controlled delivery to Walker’s address and subsequently obtained a search warrant for his residence. During the search, officers found an additional unopened package with ten pounds of methamphetamine and discovered a shotgun equipped with a 25-round drum magazine in Walker’s bedroom.

The investigation also traced the owner’s activities to another residence in Bryant, Arkansas. Authorities learned that three more packages addressed to this location—each containing ten pounds of methamphetamine—had been previously intercepted. In January 2023, law enforcement intercepted another package destined for the Bryant address with an additional ten pounds of methamphetamine. The USPIS interceptions, along with witness statements and photographic identification, led investigators to identify Walker as the intended recipient for all parcels containing methamphetamine.

Jonathan D. Ross stated: “Walker faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison. There is no parole in the federal system.”

The case was investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Assistant United States Attorney Katie Hinojosa prosecuted the case.
