A Harrison man, Justin Neil Perkuhn, was sentenced on April 24 to 660 months in federal prison without the possibility of parole, followed by 20 years of supervised release, for sexually exploiting three minors through the production of child pornography. The sentencing took place before Chief Judge Timothy L. Brooks at the U.S. District Court in Fayetteville.

The case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement and prosecutors to address crimes involving child exploitation and protect vulnerable individuals within the community.

According to court documents, Perkuhn, age 39, photographed himself bathing with two minors aged four and six while engaging in sexual contact with one of them. In another incident, he created a secret video through a window of an eight-year-old girl while she bathed. Authorities became aware of Perkuhn’s actions after Arkansas State Police received a CyberTipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that he had uploaded child pornography to a cloud storage account. A subsequent search warrant led officers to multiple devices containing child pornography at his residence. Investigators also found that Perkuhn had made a voyeuristic video of an adult woman as she exited her shower.

Perkuhn was indicted by a Grand Jury in April 2025 and pleaded guilty in July 2025. U.S. Attorney Kimberly D. Harris of the Western District of Arkansas announced the sentence.

Arkansas State Police, Harrison Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations were involved in investigating this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Devon Still prosecuted on behalf of the United States.
